Production with a purpose: the motto that drives Cindy’s work in curating compelling content, optimizing creative brands, and facilitating critical conversations.

Creative. Host. Executive.

South-side Chicago native Cindy Beasley has spent nearly the past decade building her expertise in the media world through production work for companies such as Turner Classic Films, CNBC, and VH1. Cindy is a creative first, always pioneering art concepts through different mediums such as photos, podcasts, fashion exhibitions, and blogs to name a few. As a host, Cindy is expanding the speaker and moderator portion of her resume by facilitating substantial conversations in different environments like panels and roundtable talks, and additionally her upcoming talk series that will tell stories of everyday people, doing extraordinary things. Cindy solidified her role as an executive shortly after completing her Masters of Science in Leadership for Creative Enterprises at Northwestern University, when she launched her Chicago-based production company, Morally Cinful Productions. The company’s motto is “production with a purpose”, as executed through producing witty podcasts, curating unforgettable live event experiences, and partnering with influential CEOs to take their brand operations to the next level.

Cindy’s journey eventually led her to consult for and manage teams outside of her own as Director of Operations for multiple media companies, like Whats The Word TV and Awe Luv Media. Working alongside a 4x New York Times Best-Selling Author, owner of Chicago’s top “Hip-Pop” news entertainment platform, and a number of prominent creative executives and personalities in film/television, radio, and other creative sectors, Cindy solidified herself as the woman with the plan, or better yet “the logical creative.” Her substantial logistics and production experience spans across media into the fashion world as well, where she served as a Creative Director for a start-up fashion platform formerly known as Black Fashion Worldwide, which was aimed at highlighting and creating resources for on the rise minority fashion designers.

Though she became known for her expertise in logistics, Cindy’s first love always remained facilitating critical conversations. Displaying her gift of speaking, she has professionally moderated discussion panels, hosted and emceed events, and has been a guest host on numerous podcasts and livestream talk shows over the last eight years. The seeds first planted when hosting her grammar school’s talent show in the fifth grade have taken root.

With her coming talk series, Cindy plans to transform the detail and passion of her production and logistics work into intentional, thought-provoking conversations that will simultaneously make people feel seen and comforted, and inspired to do more in the world around them. Highlighting themes like vulnerability, common life experiences, emotional intelligence, and nuance topics of being a Black woman in the work space, Cindy’s Talk Series is set to be content that teaches as it entertains, and most importantly translates as relatable across sectors. For now, she is detailing her journey and everyday life lessons and experiences in her blog, Thoughts from the Journey. Have a read, and get to know Cindy’s voice - you’ll be hearing it soon.
